Introduction
It is unfortunate that the religion of Islam is so universally misunderstood and maligned, yet nevertheless they who sincerely seek truth will ultimately find it, and in spite of such pervasive and persistent misrepresentation, human beings regardless continue to be guided to the faith.
Al-Islam Includes and Unifies All
Al-Islam is unique in that it is the only revealed religion that includes and completes all that came before it. In other words, to become a Muslim, one does not leave their love for Moses, Jesus or any of the other great prophets and messengers of the Divine, including even the Buddha, peace and blessings be upon them all.
To the contrary, being a Muslim means to honor, love, follow and respect all of the great guides to God. For this reason, early Muslims did not discount knowledge and wisdom in any culture or tradition, but rather sought to connect with and extract its essence wherever they encountered it, for they understood that God has revealed light and guidance to all human beings throughout human history.
It is also for this reason that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ advised believers to continually seek knowledge so as to better understand their religion, and to “seek knowledge even unto China.”
He ﷺ taught that “knowledge is the lost property of the believer, so let him take it wherever he finds it.”
It was such open heartedness and open mindedness that led the early believers to success and the grace of God, creating awakened, evolved and luminous cultures and societies that included people of all faiths, securing peace, safety and security for all.
Such a realization requires spirituality to again become the focus of the faith, for it is only through its spiritual essence that al-Islam has the power to transform.
Now, with the proliferation of knowledge, there has never been a greater opportunity for sincere seekers of truth to see the light in al-Islam and reconnect to the Divine via the prophets and messengers He Almighty has sent precisely for that purpose. Furthermore, in sincerely entering into and embracing Islam, one loses nothing, but rather gains everything.

Thank you and continued blessings to you and to your endeavors to enlighten and spread the vibe of peace and unity. The Unity of Allah, His Prophets, and His Revelations makes me ponder deeply on the extensive meaning of Allah’s ‘Oneness’ and Allah being ‘One’. I hope to eventually realize this concept in its most broadest sense.
I also wanted to comment on the second coming of Christ, in that I believe it refers to the Taqwa (G-d-consciousness) that Isa (AS) carried with him from birth. How his sustained faith and knowing that everything he did during his earthly presence was in the Divine presence and under the Divine support of his Creator. His existence in this earthly realm showed mankind how to live in the world and not be of it, and how we too have the innate ability to perform miracles and display the Divine gifts bestowed upon by Allah, by being that which Isa exemplified. To me, the second coming is the return of the Consciousness (the true Taqwa) that Christ Isa displayed to mankind, but which can only return by way of our unified desire to want that second coming.
Beautifully stated, Najla. Indeed, the realization of oneness, which is the realization of love, is the very goal of Islam in its broadest sense and also the deeper implication of the principle of tawhid upon which the religion is based. God’s light, peace and blessings be with you.

True. I studied all spiritual traditions for many years and then discovered the beauty and truth of Islam, the hidden treasure. TRUTH will always prevail 🙂 May the One Infinite Creator always guide us to the Straight Path and illuminate our hearts with His light and deeper divine knowledge.
“Those who might be tempted to give way to despair should realize that nothing accomplished in this order can ever be lost, that confusion, error and darkness can win the day only apparently and in a purely ephemeral way, that all partial and transitory disequilibrium must perforce contribute towards the greater equilibrium of the whole, and that nothing can ultimately prevail against the power of truth.”
