Within the heart and soul of each human being is a void and a space that can only be filled with the light, love and presence of God. Yet more often than not, due to a lack of spiritual guidance, training and discipline, we tend to seek to fill the emptiness within with things of the world.
This then only increases the density of our souls, and thus we become increasingly veiled from the light of the Divine Presence of Allah Almighty. Consequently, we ultimately slip into depression and succumb to darkness.
After having achieved all of the things of the world and learned that they cannot satisfy, superstar social media personality Andrew Tate has recently embraced Islam and now consistently points out that hedonism is a black hole that cannot fulfill, and that meaning and purpose are to be found in greater, more noble and more transcendent pursuits, i.e. in the service of the Divine, Allah Almighty.
We initially addressed this topic in the Soul of Islam Radio episode entitled Black Holes and the Voids Within, in which Ahmad and I shared that through spirituality, the seeker progressively learns to empty himself of his very self, and so becomes a worthy vehicle for the reception and transmission of the light, will, love and mercy of God.
We pray that Allah Almighty continues to guide us each upon the straight path of spiritual excellence and beauty, and that He leads us towards firmly reconnecting with and serving the divine purpose for which we have been created.
To your divine and eternal success.
