As human beings, we all carry unconscious fears as a result of traumas both personally experienced and inherited, and unless we learn to become aware of them and actively learn to transcend them, they will without our will and intent direct our behavior, often resulting in the manifestation of the very things we fear and seek to avoid.
Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.
Carl Gustav Jung
The great Swiss psychologist Carl Jung stated, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Such is life and the Universe as established by Allah Almighty that they are designed to teach us about ourselves, the choices that we make and the beliefs that underly our thoughts and actions so that we can ultimately learn to choose truth, light, peace and paradise over unconsciousness, ignorance, darkness and death.
For believers, it becomes incumbent to commit to the path of self-development, learning, growth and purification that not only leads to greater results in our lives here on earth, but that also is the means for the requisite personal evolution and spiritual growth that makes possible the ascent towards and deeper into the Divine Presence of our Lord and Creator.
Cultivate Consciousness
The Messenger of God ﷺ described the state of darkness, unconsciousness and ignorance as jahiliyya, and taught that faith, religion and spirituality when pure and properly understood were the means to cultivating light and consciousness within the soul of the human being so as to advance culture and civilization.
He ﷺ taught that meditation and contemplation are invaluable tools in cultivating consciousness and transcendence of the lower self, and that by learning to still and surrender the mind, we as human beings can awaken a greater inherent potential for connection with the Divine.

May Allah Almighty guide to that which is best and most blessed, and to the awareness and strength to advance upon the path and in life.
Allahumma ameen.
To your divine and eternal success.
