Emil Ihsan-Alexander Torabi is a pioneer in the creation of digital classical Islamic content which includes his leading edge highly acclaimed Islamic Meditation course first published in 2011. He is a student of faith, religion and spirituality spanning more than 25 years. Before devoting his time to applying classical faith to personal transformation and development, through integrating traditional Islamic spirituality with modern life; he graduated from the University of California San Diego as a historian. He then went on to study the classical sciences of Islamic Spirituality for nine years, traveling the world with various spiritual masters. This study was immersive, experiential, extensively introspective, focused on creating change transformation. On reintegrating into the world, he worked as a cultural and religious consultant to the United States Military and has trained US Marines in religious and cultural sensitivity towards the purpose of minimizing conflict and unnecessary loss of life. Ihsan- Alexander’s goal is to reintroduce Islam's spiritual dimension to the modern world, to both Muslims and non-Muslims, as a key to health, harmony, balance and purpose. He launched Soul of Islam Radio podcast in 2014 with reach in over 120 countries throughout the world. The podcast shares the message of peace and spiritual transcendence of violence, both internally and externally, as the core component of an Islamic Renaissance that will enable the Muslim Community to contribute to world culture and human civilization again positively. He began offering faith-based life coaching in 2014. Through Awakenings Academy he is developing and leading a community committed to spiritual excellence. He is the father of 4 beautiful children and currently resides in Southern California.
