Life on earth and in this plane of existence is such that it will always present hardships, difficulties and trials for us, and this is because this world is neither paradise nor eternal. Rather, this world is a bridge to eternity, and each soul must continually seek evolution and awakening so as to best prepare for the life and world beyond. Towards this end, the precise struggles that we each face present and manifest for us the specific circumstances necessary for our personal evolution.
Everything serves a divine purpose, and the precise challenges you face require very specific awakenings within you so that you can be and become the servant of the Divine you were created and destined to be. We may seldom like the hardships and difficulties we each face, but they serve a sacred purpose.
Whether you are struggling with physical or health issues, material or money challenges, marriage or family problems, or crises of faith, they exist out of necessity and to push you forward towards what you can and must become.
The Prophet ﷺ continually emphasized the importance of perpetual learning and thus growth, awakening, progress, development and evolution. Therefore, we as believers must learn to use the challenges that have been destined for us as means to learn, to become better and to overcome.
Remember, Allah Almighty wants good and goodness for you. By embracing and accepting our challenges, hardships and struggles, and by committing to the personal development and spiritual growth necessary to overcome them, we align ourselves with divine will towards the awakening of our souls as a deputies and vicegerents of God—Allah Almighty.
